  III. Recognition & Affiliation : West Bengal Nursing Council, Indian Nursing Council.

2. Duration of the Course :

Three (3) Years.

3. Eligibility for Admission :

10 + 2 or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/University with minimum 40 % marks in aggregate & minimum 40 % marks in English for general categories and as per guidelines of WBNC & INC.

4. Medium of Instruction :

The medium of instruction is Bengali and English.

5. Placement :

Suitable placement will be provided after the successful completion of the course.

Documents needs to submit at the time of Admission :

Students must report to the office of the Principal with the followings :-

1. Admission Form - Duly filled up.
2. Admit card of Madhyamik / Age Proof - Photocopy
3. 10+2 mark sheet (both side) & Certificate - Photocopy
4. Residential Certificate - Original
5. Caste Certificate wherever applicable - Photocopy
6. 4 (Four) Recent stamp size photographs - Duly signed over - leaf
7. Medical Certificate with reports - As per proforma
    1. X-Ray Chest P.A. view,
    2. Blood test report - TC, DC, Hb%, ESR, Rh & Blood Group,
    3. Urine and Stool Routine Examination,
    4. Vision Test
8. Aadhar card - Photocopy
9. All Originals would be verified at the time of admission.
10. Incomplete application will be rejected for admission.

General Rules & Regulations :

1. The discipline of the institute is to be strictly maintained. For breach of discipline, a student may be fined or expelled from the institute. In such cases, fees paid will not be refunded.
2. Institute will not be responsible for any delay or postponement of the examinations.
3. The Principal holds the right to change the timetable at any time.
4. Leave applications have to be approved and signed by the respective class teachers.
5. Applications should be signed by the parents / guardians. Guardians can sign only if parents are not alive.
6. In-House examination / tests will be compulsory for all except sick students with prior permission of the Principal.
7. 100 % attendance is essential in classes, demonstrations, practical classes, clinics & hospital training (night and day).
8. A student whose progress and conduct is considered unsatisfactory may be detained from attending classes, without any notice.
9. Students will not be allowed to entertain / meet their relatives during College hours, except emergencies (to be decided by the Principal / Vice Principal).
10. Parents as well as students will submit a combined affidavit that she will fully follow the above said rules and regulations.
11. Students will not be allowed to carry mobile phone in the classroom & hospital.

Uniform :

The uniform is compulsory in the institute as well as during clinical works in the hospitals.

Vacation & Holidays:

1. Annul Vacation - 8 Weeks per annum
2. Government Holidays - According to West Bengal University of Health Science guideline. Cancellation of Admission : The applicants admission can be cancelled if any false, incorrect or incomplete information has been submitted to the authorities. In such case fees paid will not be refundable.

Eligibility for Examination :

2. A candidate shall be eligible to sit for the examination if the Principal certifies that:
    2.1. She has completed not less than eleven months of the course with minimum of 80 % of attendance and that her total performance has been satisfactory during that period.
    2.2. A candidate must secure 50 % marks in internal assessment separately in each theory and practical and also in University examination.
    2.3. The record of practical experience is 100 % completed.

Registration :

The students who are declared successful in the final year examination are eligible for registration with the West Bengal Nursing Council as Registered Nurse. Students should obtain " No Dues Certificate " from the College of Nursing before registration.

Rules & Regulations of the Hostel :

1. Students may stay in hostel during the training period.
2. Rooms should be kept clean and tidy. Students are fully responsible for any loss / damage of furniture / fixture allotted to them.
3. Proper locks should be used for cupboards and boxes. Jewellery and expensive items are not permitted in the rooms and the College authority shall not be responsible for any theft / loss or damage of students personal belongings in any manner whatsoever.
4. Wastage of water and electricity will lead to disciplinary action.
5. Students should come to the Hostel / Canteen in proper dress.
6. In case of sickness, students should report to the Principal / Warden.
7. No electrical cooking appliances or electric immersion rod for boiling water will be allowed in hostel room. Students are not allowed to use "Android" phone with internet connectivity.
8. Visitors are not allowed to go to the students room.
9. In case of gross misconduct, training can be terminated at any point of time during the academic year. In such case, fees paid shall not be refunded. Management is fully authorized to effect any change in rules and regulations at any time.
10. Hostel rules as declared by the management will be binding on the hostel residents from the date and time of allotment of the hostel seat.
11. Ragging in any form in Hostel or in College is strictly prohibited.

Anti Ragging Resolution :

Honble Supreme Court of India order for implementation of Anti-ragging recommendation of the Lyngdoh Committee - 02.04.2008 to implement UGC regulations, 2009 dt. 14.12.2009 - To have declaration letter from the students that if found guilty of ragging they will be rusticated from the college

IX. Rice plate, Bowl, Glass, Cup and Spoon - 1 each
X. Hair Net - 2
XI. Wrist watch with second hand - 1
XII. Other Toilet articles - As required.
